23 years of tradition, community support, and commitment to our first responders.
A Community Tradition Since 2003
Established in 2003, Saxonburg Sportsman’s Fest was created with a simple but powerful mission: to support the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company while bringing the community together around a shared passion for the outdoors and sportsman traditions.
Now in its 23rd year, the event has grown into a two-day festival that attracts attendees from across the region. While the scale of the event has expanded, its purpose has never changed — providing critical funding to help ensure our local fire company remains equipped, trained, and ready to serve when emergencies arise.
Why Sportsman’s Fest Matters
The Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company relies heavily on community support to fund essential operations. From emergency response equipment and vehicle maintenance to training and safety gear, these resources are critical to protecting both firefighters and residents.
Sportsman’s Fest plays a vital role in making that possible. Participation in the event helps ensure that volunteers have the tools and training needed to respond effectively, safely, and quickly — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
